We’re thrilled to announce that Movement Voter Project (MVP) has partnered with Action Network to build the organizing tools progressives need to build power and win elections. MVP is a one-stop shop for investing in year-round organizing and movement building to shift culture, win elections, and transform policy.

By joining the Platform Development Committee (PDC) for Action Builder, MVP is investing in vital infrastructure and directly contributing to the development of the tools — from brainstorming new features and testing them to using them in the field.

MVP Communications Director Zo Tobi spoke on the importance of this partnership to the movement:

“If we want to win back power and then actually keep it and build it year after year, we need tech we can trust and tools that can scale. Almost nobody cares about tech until it breaks — but by then it’s too late. That’s why I’m so glad Movement Voter Project is partnering with Action Builder to invest in the foundational tech tools that organizers and campaigns need. It’s exactly the kind of strategic infrastructure-building that is essential for digging ourselves out of this political hole we find ourselves in.”

Action Network Executive Director Brian Young added:

“Movement Voter Project does incredible work helping Democrats and progressives build power in communities nationwide, and we’re thrilled to join with them to build the organizing infrastructure to take those efforts to a whole new level. The tools we build together will benefit the entire progressive movement, including the thousands of organizers already using Action Builder to build strong and resilient communities.”

Movement Voter Project joins the AFL-CIO and People’s Action on the Action Builder PDC. You can learn more about Action Builder here and our cooperative development model here.
